Whisky Malt Bladnoch 15 años 55º

Bladnoch is the southernmost of all Scottish distilleries and is almost isolated south of Wigtown Bay. Despite this, 27,000 visitors a year are received. But Bladnoch is not just a visitor centre, it also hosts weddings and a retreat as well as a whiskey school. As United Distillers only left stills and washing machines from the main equipment when the distillery was sold, Armstrong's enthusiasm and energy went a long way in re-equipping Bladnoch. Now the distillery has a couple of pot stills and the whiskey is matured mostly in casks that previously held bourbon on one of thirteen platforms in the warehouses.
