It is obtained by double distillation plus a third with vaporization of the alcohol in which the botanical components have been macerated in a Caterhead copper still. The botanicals used are juniper, orange peel, lemon zest, coriander, liquorice, cinnamon, cassia angelica, orris root, grains of paradise, cardamom. almonds and cubeba berry. It is a very recent gin as it began to be manufactured in 2010 and is produced in Doune Scotland. According to the manufacturer, it is inspired by Franz Boë's recipe from the 17th century. It is a Scottish gin of 47 0% alc./vol.
