After 30 years as the technical manager of Vega Sicilia, he became "independent" in 1998, attesting to his good work with wines such as this one or, more recently, Aalto. Mauro is a wine of well-founded prestige among great lovers of Spanish wine, a good representative of the strength and breed of Castilian red wines. Aged for 15 months in French and American oak barrels, it has great aging potential (between eight and 10 years). Aeration prior to consumption is recommended.
