Founded in the early 1990s by the Arzuaga-Navarro family, the wineries that bear their name are an example of dedication and passion for the land and wine. Despite being a relatively young company, its name is already synonymous with quality and regularity, qualities that have been transmitted to its wines. One more year this Ribera del Duero winery presents its Arzuaga Crianza, its most recognized label by fans who in this vintage will discover a wine with greater structure and respect for the variety. Arzuaga Crianza is one of the wines that best represents the Ribera del Duero aging where fruit and wood come together to provide its most outstanding features. Arzuaga Crianza has been made with mainly Tempranillo or Tinto Fino grapes (90%) and a minimal and interesting contribution of Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) and Merlot (3%) from the winery's own vineyards on the La Planta estate. The harvest was done by hand while the grapes were at their optimum point of ripeness. The bunches went through a selection table and then they were destemmed, passing the grapes to small stainless steel tanks where they were kept cold for a few days with a slow alcoholic fermentation at about 30º C. Aged for 13 months in French and American oak barrels.
