Casta Diva Miel 2021

The grapes he uses in his muscatels come mainly from the La Riba vineyard located in the Jávea district in the heart of the Marina Alta. These are vines that date back to 1972, planted part in a glass and part on a trellis, which are harvested in successive passes according to the type of wine to be obtained; For the Honey Harvest, grapes from the second pass are used. The grapes are completely destemmed and after pressing the must remains for 48 hours with the skins in maceration. Once the clean must was transferred to barrels where the slow maceration process continued until reaching 3º alcoholic content; then the wine was fortified with alcohol up to 14º and remained in the barrels on the lees for a total of 6 months.
