On the border between the provinces of Murcia and Alicante are the vineyards of Bodegas Sierra Salinas, plots that the Castaño family acquired in 2000 in a determined commitment to the Monastrell variety, technology (without forgetting the legacy of previous generations) and the quality throughout the elaboration process. Both the farm and the wineries are located on the slopes of the Sierra de Salina to the north of Alicante in the municipality of Villena with limestone-stony soils poor in organic matter.
