After 30 years as the technical manager of Vega Sicilia, he became "independent" in 1998, attesting to his good work with wines such as this one or, more recently, Aalto. Mauro is a wine of well-founded prestige among the great lovers of Spanish wine, a good representative of the strength and breed of Castilian reds. The Mauro Vendimia Selecciónda is only made when the vintage allows it, selecting the production of vineyards chosen for their concentration and maturity. The grapes come from vineyards in the terms of Tudela de Duero and Santibáñez de Valcorba. The wine is bottled unfiltered after aging for 30 months.
