Penderyn Whisky Malt 46º

The malt whiskey tradition has been revived in Penderyn, a small town located on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This picturesque range of mountains provides the pure spring water used in our distillation process. The water flows through peat-rich soil of red sandstone and limestone caverns becoming infused with all of these elements before entering directly into our still. The water is then blended with our barley spirit distilled malt to create Penderyn Single Malt Whisky. After maturing in casks that previously held bourbon the whiskey is finished in Madeira casks to create a unique, golden Single Malt that is light on the palate and very smooth to the taste. It's the drink from heaven! Located in Brecon National Park, Wales, Penderyn is the only distillery in Wales. Equipped with modern stills and a unique distillation method, Penderyn Distillery launches its limited production of Penderyn Single Malt Wels Whiskey with an original and innovative container that breaks with all malt packing canons.
